Meet Samuel Harkness & Evan Gamm
Hi, I’m Samuel Harkness, and I’m proud to be the co-owner of Harkness & Gamm Construction. Roofing and construction aren’t just my career—they’re my passion and a lifelong journey that’s spanned over 25 years. I started my hands-on experience in the roofer’s union, working my way up through the ranks. Those early days taught me the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and pride in doing things the right way. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on nearly every aspect of roofing, construction, and below-grade waterproofing.
One of the things I value most is staying ahead in the industry, which is why I’ve earned certifications from many leading manufacturers. This not only allows me to deliver exceptional results but also lets me offer extended warranties that provide peace of mind for my clients. At Harkness & Gamm Construction, we believe in doing more than just completing projects—we strive to exceed expectations and build lasting relationships based on trust and quality.
Outside of work, I’m a family man through and through. I’m happily married to the love of my life, and together we’re raising our five amazing kids. We’re also dog lovers—our pups are just as much a part of the family as anyone else! When I’m not spending time with my family, you can usually find me at church or enjoying the quiet, simple joys of life that come from being a country boy at heart.

With 20 years of experience in roofing, waterproofing, and construction, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects that have shaped my hands-on expertise and deep passion for this industry. I hold certifications from many leading manufacturers, enabling us to offer cutting-edge solutions and extended warranties that provide our clients with peace of mind. At Harkness & Gamm, I believe in leading from the front, which is why you’ll often find me on the job site, working alongside our crews to ensure every project meets our uncompromising standards for quality and craftsmanship.
Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father to four amazing kids, who inspire me every day. My family and faith are at the heart of everything I do, and I cherish spending time with them and attending church.
